Ramen

I don't recall eating Top Ramen as a child. I know I never bought in college, and Tim and I had never purchased the much-talked about soup until a few weeks ago. I bought it for Mya when she was home sick because I thought it would be a good alternative to sandwiches, and the kids loved it. Mya said it was too salty the first time so I decreased the amount of flavoring I added and made a new batch. Now the girls ask for the soup at least once a week, if for no other reason but to play with it.

We don't have a ton of room in our place so we opted for a small Charlie Brown tree. The kids love it. I love it too. I didn't think I would, but she (I name all my trees) has really grown on me.

almost five

Do you think she knows she is about to turn five? Her attitude has five written all over it. But she is so beautiful too. There are moments when I can't do anything but smile at her (even if she's giving me attitude) because she is just so dang beautiful. I love her.
