The last time she wore this outfit she was barely 2 years old. This outfit is made for an 18-month old. It's way to small, but she won't take it off. She's a goof. Yesterday she said, "I've got a tickle in my witch." (Remember witches are really itches.) I thought it was so funny.

isn't she just a sweetheart? she follows mya everywhere and does everything she does. she has been insisting on wearing mya's p-jammies lately so we've just been putting them on top of her normal clothes.

preschool

I am in charge of preschool for the next two weeks. I have the letters "p" and "q". We played hot potato, sang "popcorn popping," ate popcorn, painted with potatoes, made pizzas and decorated prince/princess crowns. It was fun. It was the first successful day I've had with Mya at preschool. Small miracle.

I adore the face she always gives to Mya. It says, "What do you think you are doing?" And I love it.

She loves playing in the streaming water.

just wanted to remember...

i just wanted to remember that while i was baking cookies this morning, i couldn't hear v anymore so i went looking for her and she was standing in mya's room with big, round eyes watching her sleep. when i picked her up, she pointed and smiled. my girls love each other, and i love it.

ice skating

It has been my dream to take Mya ice skating so I've just been patiently waiting for her to develop some interest in the sport. She finally has thanks to a book she received for Christmas. I took her skating for some much needed "mommy-mya" time today. She loved it. And so did I.

i eat chocolate...a lot

Guess who devoured a cookie in about 3 minutes? Yum...I like chocolate.

This little grumpers has been showing us her true colors lately. She is good at tantrums. My goodness. I can understand it though...teeth must really hurt cutting through those tiny gums.

it's finally here

Winter finally decided to show up here in Peoria. I don't think it snowed more than a couple of inches but the wind blew it all over the place so there were literally piles everywhere. Mya and Tim went outside when he came home from work (there was no way I was braving the cold weather). They tried to make a snowman (not the right snow), and they made snow angels. Mya was so happy. She waited to go outside all day.
