so behind. forgive me.

I am so behind at uploading pictures. I'm sorry, but I am incredibly busy with babysitting (which ends very soon!!!!) and well...my normal life. Here are some of the random pictures I've taken over the past while. What's it been...two weeks? The girls are doing great. They have been sick and boogery, but that's to be expected with this crazy cold weather in April. I am praying spring is here to stay soon.

Elle started sitting on the 16th or so of March. She did a little bit here and there while in Arizona but really got better when she got home. She still falls over and face plants (which she hates), but she is able to sit for 15-20 minutes at a time when being entertained by toys. She is still connected to my hip so I am slowly trying to wean her from me as easily as possible. She just really likes me, which wouldn't be a problem if the other two didn't demand so much time too.

Mya has been a great helper lately. I have this feeling we are really improving our relationship. And V...well she's crazy. She's always running around yelling "Miiiiiiiiya" and "Mmmmmooooommmy." My favorite things she is saying right now is "Alright." You ask her to do something and she will always reply, "Alright. Alright mommy." And she does it. (Well, for the most part)

last arizona post

I was in Arizona for a total of nine days, and I took over 400 pictures. I forgot how much I love to take pictures outside. If you ask Mya what we did in Arizona, she always replies, "We played outside A LOT!!" I had told her prior to going that we wouldn't have to wear coats or gloves in Arizona. She was so excited when we arrived to warm weather. I was true to my promise. She only had to wear a sweatshirt when we went to the zoo because the sky was overcast and there was a pesky drizzle for the better part of the morning.

We absolutely loved Arizona. It was probably my favorite trip home. My dad took the entire week off to play with us, and boy did we play. My girls did their fair share of tickling, wrestling, playing hide and seek, running around, swinging and laughing. And they did it all with their papa and nana. Watching my girls wrestle and tickle my dad reminded me so much of my childhood. My parents were always being silly with us. The girls also loved baking and planting flowers with nana. Mya fed a giraffe at the zoo and is still telling people about it. And both girls loved feeding the quack-quacks at the park with Hayden. I can't tell you how sweet Hayden is with all of my girls. He always reminds me that Mya is his cousin and V and Elle are his sisters. I'm not about to tell him otherwise. You can believe whatever you want buddy. We love you.

Thank you so much to my parents, grandparents, brother, sister, Aunt Kelley and friends for making time for us. It was a special visit for all of us. We really needed it. Now Mya keeps asking "How many more days until we go back to Arizona?" I am thinking the same thing.
