her pizza

Mya loves to cook with me. It is one of my favorite things to occupy our time because it usually keeps us busy for at least an hour and she is contained in the kitchen. Today we made pizza. She loved it.

 Although V didn't make the pizza, she sure did love eating it. I think she ate more than Mya.

Mya's been begging us to set up the big tent in the living room ever since we took the Christmas tree outside so we decided to oblige her request. Who says you can't camp in the winter?

I've really loved braiding Mya's hair lately. She is so patient with my shaky hands, and although I am not always that patient with her moving head...we are a good pair. Isn't she a beauty?

We had a wonderfully warm day today. I sat reading in the sunlight for several minutes before the kids decided napping was not happening today. Bummer. However, I decided to get out and walk with the girls. We loved it.

Happy New Year

We had a special little New Year's Eve at home by ourselves. We cooked a delicious meal and danced in the living room until it was time for bed (which came early for the kiddos).
